induction heating

Printed matter:

Safe heating without a flame
- induction heat simplifies your work on heavy vehicles in the workshop.

Modular Adaptive Energy Technology is an adaptive process regulator with variable frequency control and extremely fast FPGA (Field Programmable
Gate Array) providing operationally safe and energy saving control of the induction heating.

In practice, this means that the machine always adjusts itself to deliver exactly the set output while consuming as little power as possible.

Automatic cooling in the induction heaters means that the cooler is only active when needed. In contrast to continuous machine cooling this makes the work environment quieter and reduces energy consumption.

The technology incorporated
in Josam's induction heaters makes them extremely efficient and energy saving. Therefore Josam is a truly environmentally friendly choice.

The USB connection simplifies servicing and upgrading the software. The platform is future-proof and upgradable thanks to an interface linking software and hardware from separate modules.

Induction heating for heavy vehicle workshops

JOSAM's product range of induction heaters: JH400, JH1000 and JH1300.

JOSAM, which is a pioneer when it comes to the use of heat in the straightening of axles, vehicle frames, crane jibs, etc. can now offer a new method of induction heating. It is not only effective and reliable, but results in a cleaner work environment.

The risk for damaging cables and such when heating with an open flame is completely eliminated. Good regulating controls make it easier to achieve the correct temperature, heating depth and size of the heated area.

• High efficiency with a controlled heating output.
• Phase monitors, cooling water regulators, as well as built-in safety fuses.
• A new and effective inductor which is easy to service.

JH400

JH400 is used for sheet metal straightening and loosening
of smaller machine parts such as:
• nuts up to size M24
• pins
• clamping rings

The JH400 is mainly used for lighter repair work. The high power induction heater can be used in the same way as a gas torch, but without destroying nearby parts. Overheating is avoided through the unique 5-step regulation and power control system. The heat is applied directly to the material being worked on without the necessity for removing heat-sensitive components located in the vicinity.

Choose between angled (standard) or straight induction head.

JH1000

JH1000 is suited for lighter straightening and loosening
of heavier machine parts which includes:
• bolts and nuts
• bushings and bearings
• smaller chassis

JH1000 is a robust and ergonomicallydesigned induction heater you can move around easily in your workshop thanks to its compact size. The control panel has intuitive buttons and indicators for easy setting of power output in five stages. It is sensitive enough to be operated with gloves. Inductor holders and cable holders are mounted on the machine.

Heating is an important part of frame straightening, shown here together with the JOSAM frame press.

JH1300

JH1300 is designed for heavy duty work that requires plenty of heat, for example straightening of:
• chassis
• heavier parts
• axles

The JH1300 is suited for heavier vehicle repairs. It has a very high degree of efficiency and is water-cooled using a closed compressor-powered system. Through the use of automatic control monitors, the power output remains constant during the heating process.

Chassis, axles, joint reinforcements, lock nuts, pins and heavier steel parts can easily be heated
up in order to loosen, adjust or straighten them.
