2012 is Josam's 40th year in the straightening and wheel alignment business. With this in mind we have created the anniversary logotype above and would like to notice a few milestones in the company's history.

Vision
"The vision of JOSAM is to be the worldwide leader in equipment and methods for alignment and straightening of commercial vehicles".


JOSAM lives up to this vision through developing and taking out patents on equipment and methods for doing wheel alignment, as well as measurement and straightening of axles, vehicle frames and cabs, among other things.

The starting point is the client’s request and a broad range of experience in the field of wheel alignment and straightening. This experience has been continuously expanded at our own wheel alignment and straightening training centers which also benefits the clients in our training programs all over the world.

Benefits for the client
JOSAM’s straightening equipment makes it possible to effectively and qualitatively repair damage to vehicle frames and chassis instead of replacing these components. This means that there is a significant economic advantage for all concerned.

JOSAM’s measuring system is used all over the world on vehicle production lines and by axle manufacturers, as well as by repair shops and tyre stores. Correct axle and wheel alignment reduces both fuel consumption and tyre wear. In addition, traffic safety is improved as is driving comfort.

Training for users of JOSAM’s products is another core activity. Through this training, JOSAM’s clients get access to the latest methods for wheel alignment and straightening, as well as effective utilization of the equipment. In addition to making training available to technicians, JOSAM offers training programs for service personnel and insurance claims adjusters.


Developing, testing and manufacture
Through its extensive experience and well-developed client contacts, JOSAM is constantly improving its products. New material and technology is being introduced on a continuous basis so as to be able to offer clients the most effective equipment and techniques possible. The new product concepts and methods are then tested in our own measurement and straightening workshops. Assembly and quality control occur at the facility in Örebro.

JOSAM promotes quality at all levels of its administrative and technical departments and works systematically to make continual improvements in this area. The administration of quality control impact systems are certified according to ISO 9001.

Represented in every part of the world
JOSAM is represented in most countries in all the continents through our affiliated companies and representatives. In Sweden, the USA, Japan, Holland, Spain and Italy, among others, there are JOSAM training centres that offer training to clients and others within the branch. In addition, JOSAM has the capability of adapting the training to the client’s needs in at least 12 different languages.
